Whyalla residents say NO to Lowly Peninsula port.

May 23rd 2009: With the offer of considerable federal funding on the table for a port in the Spencer Gulf, Whyalla residents have spoken out and said “NOT ON LOWLY PENINSULA” . A large turn out of 80 residents lined the beach west of Santos where the new port is proposed to voice their objection to the use of this site for a deep-water port. Read nore.
