The Whyalla Council has turn the Point Lowly Lighthouse light back on with a dimmer yellow light
Whyalla residents join protest to save Gulf and Murray River
SAVE POINT LOWLY GROUP joined the community protest for the Murray at Swan Reach. Several hundred people gathered to show that the people of South Australia care for the Murray and the communities that live along it.
Water issues affect us all. The only viable solution is to SAVE POINT LOWLY and the Spencer Gulfs fragile fish nurseries and locate a desalination plant on the west coast of Eyre Peninsula, powered by on-site wind energy, a plant of large enough scale that will secure water for us ALL.
