Industrial pollution threatens Cuttlefish
Point Lowly is a pristine environment in which the Cuttlefish come to breed and lay their eggs under the rocky ledges in the shallow water. This is a major tourist destination for scuba divers and snorkling. Iron ore or copper dust from the new deep sea port could threaten this unique marine environment and the Cuttlefish.
