"Murky Waters of Adelaide's Coast"
Semaphore SLSC Point Malcolm Reserve, Semaphore Park, off Military Rd
Sunday 30th August 2009
This is a rare opportunity to find out what is behind the "Murky Coastal Waters" of Adelaide's Coast. Just what are the impacts on marine ecosystems and especially our beaches? Particularly during summer a lot of the "murk" comes from dredging. This forum will provide an overview of the legislation, the regulation and compliance monitoring. The booklet "Gulf St Vincent - a precious asset" developed by the "Friends" will be launched during the event.
The Forum includes Morning, Afternoon Tea and Lunch which will all be provided free of charge, thanks to the generous support of the Adelaide & Mount Lofty Ranges Natural Resource Management Board. Donations to assist the Friends of Gulf St Vincent with their work are most welcomed.
